I began at age 18 as an apprentice of my uncle who was also a professional photographer. He taught me to enjoy every celebration....and take a camera. At age 19 I shot my first wedding. My life changed. Seeing couples in love is one of my greatest joys. As of this year, I have shot over 1,300 weddings.
"To Love is nothing. To be loved is something.
But to love and be loved, that's everything"
I've also had a unique experience as a mental health services professional. As I worked in a hospice agency, I often would look at our patient's wedding albums. Each page full of rich memories. Each photo told a beautiful journey of love. Each weekend I would shoot weddings. The experience was life changing. After recognizing the importance of this one special day, and the significance of photography, I resigned my hospice job and went full time as a photographer.
I know true love. I'm a lucky gal, who has a partner that I love dearly. We have a cute little Bichon Fraise' who cuddles us each night and reminds us that even on our worst days, love is unconditional.
I'd be honored to capture your special moments. So that one day when you sit and share your photos, you will have not just a photo, but memories full of laughter, joy, and the greatest gift of all....LOVE.
I look forward to our shared experience.
